Women and their livelihood to combat climate change

Hukam village , a mountain village of Rukum where the most of the male people go abroad for earning and female live in home and practice growing mountain crops for feeding their family. The geographical difficulties in this region make them far from education, health, transportation and communication facilities. Majority of people eat Dhido from maize , potato as the staple food. The production of mountain crops is decreasing which is creating food insecure in this region as the impact of climate change due to irregular climatic parameters.
